Send a postcard home from different Nordic destinations
In the Scandinavian region, you’ll have no problem finding post offices and stamps to send postcards home.
In all major towns and cities, an internet search or a query at your hotel reception will help you quickly find the nearest post office. Their business hours are generally between 9 AM and 6 PM on weekdays, and closed on weekends and public holidays.
You can buy stamps from hotels, grocery stores, bookshops or tourist centres as well as the post offices themselves. You’ll need to tell them which country you’re sending the postcard to, especially if it’s outside Europe.
For simple cards, a stamp is all you’ll need. If you want to send anything larger, you’ll have to send it from a post office and pay for its weight. You might also need to fill out a customs form.
