Tallinn boasts one of Europe’s best-preserved medieval town centres, so it is no wonder visiting its medieval town wall would be a worthwhile attraction.
With nearly 2km of the original wall still standing, as well as 20 defensive towers, visitors can visit the inside of the wall and climb up to get stunning views over the capital. Many of the sections of the town wall serve as museums that you can visit as well.
