Intriguing symbolic sculpure

Located in the beautiful Sibelius Park, the Sibelius Monument is dedicated to the famous Finnish music composer Jean Sibelius (1865-1957). Unveiled in 1967 after a controversial public design competition, the sculpture is known for its abstract form consisting of hundreds of steel tubes that resemble organ pipes.
