Step into the past
The Wadköping Museum Village (Friluftsmuseet Wadköping) is an open-air museum with old buildings that depicts what life was like from the 17th century onward. While there, treat yourself to some fresh bread from the village bakery, indulge in some old-fashioned candies from the sweet shop or enjoy a beverage in the cosy café.
Wadköping is always full of action, with cultural events held all year round in addition to regular art exhibitions and workshops of traditional crafts like woodworking and blacksmithing. Admission is free and the village is accessible at all hours, but the shops, café, workshops and exhibitions have varying opening hours.
