Magnificent 100-km-long fjord

The Oslo Fjord (Oslofjord) is an inlet in south-east Norway stretching from the Torbjørnskjær lighthouse in the south to the capital city Oslo in the north. Despite its name, it is not, technically, a fjord at all. Rather, the word “fjord” can be used in Norwegian to describe a wide range of waterways. This also happens to be the warmest waterway in the country, with an average temperature of 7.5°C.
