The city council building decorated in Norwegian art
Oslo City Hall (Oslo rådhus) may seem plain at first glance, but step inside and you will find walls adorned with colourful murals, including one — the largest oil painting in Europe — depicting city life by renowned artist Henrik Sørensen. Oslo City Hall also hosts the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony every year in December.
