The start of your cruise along the Geirangerfjord
Geiranger is a small village situated in the western part of Norway, where the nearest city is Ålesund. Geiranger is home to some of the most spectacular scenery in the country, and the Geirangerfjord area has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The stunning Seven Sisters waterfall is located just west of Geiranger, directly across from another waterfall, The Suitor. Tours of the nearby historic farms of Knivsflå and Skageflå are available from Geiranger. While roughly 250 people call Geiranger home, several hundred thousand tourists pass through every summer, making tourism the main business here.
