Mesmerising urban design

Finlandia Hall is an events venue renowned for its ground-breaking modern architecture. Located in the centre of Helsinki, it was designed by the famous Finnish architect Alvar Aalto and completed in 1971. The main feature of the hall is a tower-like section with a sloping roof, an empty space which Aalto thought would provide better acoustics.
