Danish royal castle
At the heart of Copenhagen, amongst the King‘s Garden, sits the 400-year-old Rosenborg Castle. Built during the Renaissance period, it was used as a summer home for the Danish monarchs and is now a popular attraction for those visiting Denmark‘s capital.
Visitors can today enjoy the beauty of the architecture, but also rooms with thematic decors of the era, full of pecularities and well-preserved royal possessions. Kept in a special vault in the castle, the Denmark's crown jewels are also kept here.
